The teaching of modern languages is one of the principal activities carried out by the Fundación Universidade de Vigo and its subordinate organization the Centro de Linguas. The organizing body of the Fundación Universidade de Vigo is the Patronato, which is presided over by the Chancellor of the Universidade de Vigo, D. Manuel Joaquín Reigosa Roger. The Centro de Linguas operates under the aegis of and receives academic support from the Universidade de Vigo, which emits and validates its certificates.
