SFL courses are organized into the CEFR levels A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 so that international students can certify at least one level in a term. All of these courses are formed by a theory and practice module that is adapted to their level and by a speaking and culture module in which students can practise interaction and communication in their daily lives. In addition to classroom learning, students will have many opportunities to acquire basic knowledge of Spanish culture outside of the classroom.
These are face-to-face, blended or online courses which are taught over a term: A1 (60 hours), A2 (60 hours), B1 (60 hours), B2 (60 hours) and C1 (60 hours). These courses include an exam designed at the Centro de Linguas so that international students can certify an A1, A2, B1, B2 or C1 level. The University of Vigo gives 4 ECTS credits for each of these courses.
This programme is carried out in collaboration with Campus Spain. It is aimed at international students who are at least 16 years old and who would like to prepare themselves to study an undergraduate degree or a master’s degree at a Spanish university.
It includes theory and practical sessions where students learn Spanish through communicative tasks, visits to landmarks, which include different activities (interviews, workshops, etc.), and special sessions taught by experts, which will help students gain a deeper understanding of the national character.
LANGUAGE & CULTURE
These face-to-face courses are taught in June and July. They include educational tours, allowing students to combine their studies with leisure activities.
