Course certificates

The Language Centre offers two types of certificates: an attendance diploma and a level diploma.

To obtain the attendance diploma it is necessary to attend a minimum of 85% of the course class hours.
To obtain the level diploma it is necessary to sit and pass the course examination which evaluates the student’s command of the four language skills. The certificate includes the mark obtained in the test, the number of hours of the course, the examination dates, the number of credits, the level which corresponds to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the student’s personal details.

The attendance diploma is issued within a period of one month. The level diplomas are also issued within a period of one month from the date of the exam review.

The certificates of accreditation do not have an expiry date. However, the organization which receives the certificate can establish a time limit in terms of validity.
